Description: Shrubs, glabrous or with minute glandular hairs, viscid, aromatic.
Leaves cauline, alternate, sessile, entire.
Heads in dense terminal compound corymbs; partial heads cylindrical; involucral bracts 3- or 4-seriate, imbricate, scarious; receptacle minute, scales absent. Florets few or solitary, tubular, bisexual, 5-merous. Corollas hardly exceeding the involucre, dilated at base, glandular at apex. Anthers finely tailed, with acute terminal appendages. Style branches linear, flattened; apices truncate, papillose.
Achenes terete; pappus absent.
Distribution and occurrence: World: c. 4 species, endemic Australia. Australia: N.S.W., Vic.
