Style 2- or 3-fid.
Nut plano-convex or trigonous, olive-brown to very dark yellow-brown, the surface not obviously reticulate.
Distribution and occurrence: An immature specimen from a locality on the southern margin of Lake Illawarra, south of Wollongong, is probably B. robustus, a North American species.
