Boronia safrolifera Cheel APNI* 
Description: Shrub 0.5–1 m high; branchlets sparsely to moderately bristly.
Leaves pinnate with 7–19 leaflets, terminal leaflet shortest; rachis 9–30 mm long, winged and often curved; leaflets narrow-elliptic to elliptic or narrow-oblong, 3–15 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, apex obtuse to acute and mucronate, margins entire to slightly toothed, recurved to flat, glabrous to sparsely bristly, lower surface paler; petiole 3–10 mm long.
Inflorescences terminal to axillary, 3–6-flowered; pedicels 4–12 mm long. Calyx glabrous. Petals 5–7 mm long, imbricate, deep pink (occasionally pale), glabrous except for ciliate margins, not persistent in fruit.
Cocci glabrous.
Flowering: August–November
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sandy, wet heath, north from Port Stephens.
