Description: Glabrous perennial with twining stems.

Leaves with lamina ovate to lanceolate, 3–10 cm long, 1.5–8 cm wide, acuminate with an acute apex, base sagittate to hastate, basal lobes toothed or shallowly lobed; petiole 2–8 cm long.

Flowers solitary on peduncles equal to or shorter than petioles; bracteoles ovate to circular, apex rounded, ± mucronulate, 6–12 mm long, equal to or longer than the calyx. Corolla c. 2 cm long, white to pale mauve.

Capsule globose, 5–7 mm long.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in moist gullies in sclerophyll forest and on rainforest margins, widespread on the coast and ranges.
