Description: Evergreen shrub 1–3 m high with arching branches.

Leaves elliptic, usually 20–25 mm long, 8–15 mm wide, apex acute-mucronate, upper surface dull and glabrous, lower surface white-tomentose, veins not conspicuous on upper surface; petiole 4–8 mm long.

Flowers white, c. 8 mm across, in 6–20-flowered pubescent clusters, 4–5 c. across. Pome usually ovoid to subglobose, 6–7 mm diam., red, ageing to crimson, 2-seeded.
