Common name: Round-leaved Cotoneaster
Cotoneaster rotundifolius Wall. ex Lindl. APNI* 
Description: Erect evergreen shrub 2–4 m high.
Leaves mostly ovate, usually 10–15 mm long, 4–8 mm wide, apex generally rounded and mucronate, upper surface glossy green, lower surface whitish; petiole 3–5 mm long.
Flowers white, 10–12 mm across, flowers solitary or in clusters of 2 or 3. Pome subglobose, c. 8 mm diam., red, 2-seeded.
Distribution and occurrence: Cultivated, but rarely naturalized. Native of the Himalayas.
