Description: Weakly ascending to decumbent shrub 0.1–0.5 m high, 0.3–0.5 m wide, occasionally forming mats; stems glabrous, occasionally with retrorse to appressed retrorse hairs.

Leaves spirally twisted, rarely almost straight, linear, trigonous to flattened, 2.5–6.0 mm long, apex acute or obtuse, mucronate, shortly incurved, occasionally with a few hairs towards apex or glabrous.

Inflorescences umbellate, terminal, 1–3-flowered; peduncle 11–28 mm long; bracts and bracteoles 0.75–1.25 mm long, narrow-ovate to lanceolate, either sparsely ciliate, glabrous or occasionally with 1 red gland. Calyx 3.5–4.5 mm long, glabrous. Standard 5.5–7.5 mm long.

Pods 2 mm long; seeds smooth.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in ecotone between teatree and Shagnum peaty swamps and Snow Gum woodland, confined to Bago and Bogong Ranges of western Snowy Mountains.
