Description: Decumbent to erect shrub 0.4–1.5 m high.

Leaves linear to narrow-oblong to spathulate, rarely obovate and flat with inrolled margins, 1–10 mm long, apex blunt to shortly incurved and acuminate, smooth or minutely tuberculate, usually glabrous.

Inflorescences 1-flowered, terminal or in the upper axils; peduncle 0.5–8 mm long; bracts c. 1 mm long; bracteoles 1–1.5 mm long, glabrous. Calyx 4–5 mm long, mostly glabrous. Standard 7–10 mm long.

Pod 5–7 mm long; seeds smooth.

Distribution and occurrence: in heath and dry sclerophyll forest, most commonly on sandstone; south from the Cudgegong R.
