Description: Terrestrial herb.

Leaves 2, linear, c. 30 cm long, c. 6 mm wide, conduplicate.

Raceme to 35 cm high, 2–9-flowered. Flowers light yellow with red brown markings, c. 2 cm across. Dorsal sepal broad-ovate, 8–10 mm long, 6–8 mm wide, erect. Lateral sepals linear, c. 10 mm long, c. 2.5 mm wide, deflexed, parallel. Petals divergent; lamina broad-ovate to circular; claw dark-coloured. Labellum 6–8 mm long; lateral lobes oblong-cuneate, 6–8 mm long, 2–3 mm wide, margins irregular; midlobe obovate when flattened, 6–8 mm wide, ridged along midline; callus of 2 ridges c. 3 mm long.


Flowering: October

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll forest; a poorly known species, recorded only from the Blue Mtns.
