Description: Erect to diffuse shrub, 20–100 cm, occasionally to 180 cm high; stems with inconspicuous leaf scars; branchlets woolly.
Leaves mainly erect, elliptic or ± ovate, 5.6–14.3 mm long, 1.4–3 mm wide, apex ± subulate, base ± obtuse, margins entire or ciliolate towards base; lamina thin, concave or inrolled at apex; petiole 0.9–1.4 mm long, finely pubescent.
Flowers in long leafy inflorescences, flowers 3–7 mm diam., white or cream-green, sometimes with pink or red tube; peduncle 1–2.5 mm long; bracts acuminate. Sepals 6–10 mm long. Corolla tube 10.2–16 mm long; lobes 3.8–5.5 mm long, concave or inrolled at apex. Anthers hidden in tube.
Capsule 2.5–3.5 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in skeletal sandy soils, on cliffs and rocky areas in shrubland or on margins of sclerophyll forest or rainforest over sandstone up to 1000 m alt.; on the coast from Comboyne Plateau to Pigeon House Mtn and west to Berrima.
