Description: Terrestrial herb 10–20 cm high.

Inflorescence dense, 1–3 cm long, 12–45-flowered.

Flowers c. 3 mm across, nodding, green with a dark purplish black labellum. Dorsal sepal broad-ovate, 4–4.5 mm long, c. 4 mm wide. Lateral sepals linear to lanceolate, 2.8–3.5 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, gibbous at the base, parallel or slightly divergent. Petals ovate, 1.7–2 mm long, c. 0.8 mm wide, margins entire. Labellum ovate to obovate, c. 2 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, apex obtuse, margins entire or minutely toothed; callus narrow-oblong to narrow-ovate to lanceolate, extending nearly to the labellum apex.


Flowering: March–May.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in mallee scrubland and Callitris woodland; south from Griffith.
