Description: Weakly decumbent perennial herb with flowering stems to 50 cm long, finely hairy with retrorsely spreading hairs; taproot thick.

Leaves on stems opposite, palmatisect with lamina reniform to ± circular in outline, to 3 cm long and to 4 cm wide, 5–7-lobed; lobes obovate and with 3–5 secondary lobes, pubescent; petiole to 20 cm long.

Flowers solitary; peduncle and pedicel together 2–4 mm long. Sepals c. 4 mm long. Petals c. 5 mm long, white. Anthers yellow with purple dehiscence lines.

Fruit 12–14 mm long; mericarps hairy; seeds black, with elongate reticulations.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in woodland, often in disturbed sites; chiefly at higher altitudes from Oberon to Kanangra Boyd N.P.
