Hannafordia bissillii F.Muell. APNI*

Description: Slender shrub to 1 m high, stellate-hairy, often rusty-tomentose.

Leaves oblong to lanceolate, mostly 2–6 cm long, c. 10 mm wide, base cordate; petiole 5–10 mm long; stipules c. 2 mm long.

Flowers solitary or paired; peduncles < 10 mm long. Calyx 10–15 mm long. Petals 4–5 mm long, yellow.

Capsule c. 10 mm diam., tomentose; ripe summer to autumn.


Distribution and occurrence: Mostly in sandplain country and associated with Triodia spp.; chiefly north of Bourke, more widespread in Central Aust.
