Description: Prostrate shrub to 0.1 m high; glabrous.

Leaves bilaterally flattened to terete, usually 3.5–7 mm long, 0.3–0.8 mm thick and wide, green with conspicuous blackish oil dots.

Flowers 1–6 on undifferentiated branches, yellow; peduncles 1.5–2.5 mm long; bracteoles 2.5–4 mm long, caducous. Hypanthium narrow-obconical, 2.8–3.5 mm long, strongly 5-ribbed, glabrous. Sepals 1–1.5 mm long, apex long-acuminate, not lobed. Petals broad-obovate, 0.5–1 mm long. Style exceeding petals by 3–7 mm.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in low dry sclerophyll forest on sandy soil; recorded north Yetman, very rare in the State, more common in southern Qld.
