Description: Annual with thick, hollow, trailing stems, glabrous.
Leaves with lamina lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, 5–15 cm long, 2–8 cm wide, apex acute to narrowly obtuse, mucronulate, base hastate or auriculate, glabrous; petiole 2–10 cm long.
Inflorescence usually 1-flowered. Corolla funnel-shaped, creamish white, glabrous; tube 1.2–2 cm long; limb 1.3–1.6 cm diam.
Capsule depressed-globose, 9–17 mm diam., 2-locular, ± indehiscent; seeds pubescent with slightly longer hairs on ridges.
Flowering: mainly summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on clay soils on floodplains; north from near Goodooga.
