Description: Annual erect herb to 25 cm high. Stems and leaves pilose to villous, glandular.

Leaves oblancelate to spathulate in outline, to 7 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, finely bi or tri-pinnate.

Involucral bracts glandular; inner bracts c. 10 mm long. Receptacle 4–8 mm diameter. Ligules of marginal florets c. 0.3 mm wide and 1–2 mm long, entire or minutely lobed. disc florets fertile, corolla 5–6.5 mm long.

Achenes 2–2.5 mm long, narrow-obovate, sericeous; with the beak 2.5–5 mm long; pappus 6–9 mm long, in multiple rows, uneven.

Loams and clay loams in Mulga, Acacia aneura, communitiies.
