Description: Shrub to 3 m high; young stems villous.

Leaves narrow-obovate, 3–9 mm long, 0.5–1.5 mm wide, recurved at the apex, at first sparsely hairy then glabrous; petiole to 1 mm long.

Flowers pink to purple, sessile, in head-like clusters at end of branches. Hypanthium villous. Sepals triangular, 1 mm long. Petals 1.5 mm long. Stamens 3–5 mm long. Ovary 3-locular, placentation axile; style c. 6 mm long.

Fruit 4–5 mm long, c. 3 mm diam., dehiscent.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest on granitic soils; on the tablelands north from Deepwater.
