Leptospermum minutifolium C.T.White APNI*

Description: Shrub to 2 m high, bark close or smooth and flaking, younger stems usually appressed-hirsute.

Leaves narrow- to broad-obovate, mostly 2–4 mm long, usually 2 mm wide, usually concave with prominent glands, mostly glabrous; apex rounded or acute with an umbo behind; base gradually tapering, petiole may be negligible.

Flowers solitary, usually c. 8 mm diam., white. Hypanthium with conspicuous glands, 2–3 mm long, glabrous. Sepals 1.5–2 mm long, glabrous. Petals 2.5–3 mm long. Stamens 3–3.5 mm long. Ovary usually 5-locular.

Fruit 5–7 mm diam., surface soon lifting and flaking, valves seldom spreading wider than the rim.
