Description: Shrub usually 20–60 cm high; branchlets pubescent.

Leaves erect or upwardly appressed, oblong or linear, 2–7.2 mm long, 0.9–2.1 mm wide, margins recurved and minutely toothed; lamina concolorous, ± finely hispid, upper surface convex, lower surface with 3 central parallel veins; petiole ± absent.

Flowers erect, 1–3 plus rudiment, in upper axils of lateral branches, white; bracteoles 1.1–1.4 mm long, hispid. Sepals 1.9–2.4 mm long. Corolla tube 1.6–2.1 mm long, pubescent internally near throat; lobes 1.5–2 mm long.

Fruit ellipsoid to ovoid, 2.1–2.9 mm long, ribbed, glabrous.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest, open woodland and open rocky platforms within heath, on sandy loams over various substrates, south from Nandewar Ra. and Guyra.

Life History
Flowers White, May--December, mainly August--November.

Fruit/seed Fleshy fruit 2--3 mm long.

Habitat Rock platforms.

Typical local abundance Rare.

Vegetation Low heath e.g. with Baeckea brevifolia.

Substrate Sandy loam on granite, low nutrients.
