Description: Erect densely branched shrub, 70–100 cm high; branchlets pubescent.

Leaves lanceolate to obovate, 5–20.8 mm long, 0.6–2.8 mm wide; margins finely toothed; lamina concolorous, glabrous or minutely bristly, flat, lower surface striate-veined; petiole to 1 mm long.

Flowers erect, 3–15 together in spikes to 23 mm long, white; bracteoles 1.15–1.3 mm long. Sepals 1.9–2.4 mm long. Corolla tube 1.9–2.8 mm long, pilose near throat; lobes 2.5–3.0 mm long.

Fruit obovoid, 2.5–2.8 mm long, slightly ridged, glabrous.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath understorey of open woodland on sandy soils over granite, between 900-1200 m alt., north from Guyra district.
