Description: Dense, spreading shrub 0.5–1.5 m high.

Leaves linear to oblanceolate, 1.5–3 mm long, 0.5–0.8 mm wide, margins minutely ciliate.

Flowers ± sessile, solitary in upper axils, forming small compact heads to loose flowering regions; bracteoles 1–1.5 mm long, caducous. Hypanthium 1–1.5 mm long, obconical, ribs rounded. Sepals < 1 mm long, membranous, margins usually minutely toothed. Petals circular to elliptic, 1–1.5 mm long, white to pale pink. Stamens 5, 1–1.5 mm long.

Fruit scarcely enlarged from flower.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in mallee, woodland or dry sclerophyll forest, often on rocky sites; mainly on the ranges.
