Minuria leptophylla DC. APNI*

Description: Perennial herb to 50 cm high; stems and peduncles sparsely hairy with simple hairs.

Leaves linear, to 4 cm long, c. 1 mm wide, margins entire, lamina subglabrous to pubescent.

Ray florets white or purple, ligule 5–9 mm long; achene pubescent; pappus of many, free, uniform bristles 2.5–4 mm long. Disc florets with corolla tube 2.8–4 mm long, glabrous; pappus of many short bristles 0.6–1.2 mm long and 2–6 longer bristles 2.2–3.1 mm long with barbs denser apically.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in low shrubland, sclerophyll forest and woodland on a wide variety of soils; west from the Singleton area.
