Pelargonium x domesticum L. APNI*

Description: Diffuse shrub to 100 cm high, softly hairy; stems with long non-glandular and shorter glandular and non-glandular hairs.

Leaves alternate with lamina broad-ovate to ± triangular, to c. 8 cm long and 10 cm wide, shallowly lobed and toothed with acute teeth; pubescent or ± glabrous; petiole to 5 cm long.

Umbels 3–6-flowered; peduncle to 8 cm long; pedicels 2–4 cm long. Calyx lobes 20–30 mm long, sepal spur 10–20 mm long. Petals 15–45 mm long, various shades of pink with darker markings. Fertile stamens usually 8.

Fruit 8–15 mm long; mericarps hairy; seed often not set.
