Description: Shrub to 60 cm high; branchlets glandular-warty, sparsely and finely pubescent when young; cuticle separating early as a membranous pale tunic.

Leaves subterete, 0.15–0.25 cm long and <0.5 mm wide, glandular-warty, apex obtuse to rounded, fleshy, glabrous; petiole short, stipules small.

Flowers solitary, terminal; pedicels 0.5–1 mm long. Sepals glabrous, irregular in size and shape, from fleshy and 1 mm long, to leaf-like and 2 mm long. Petals elliptic, c. 2.5 mm long, white, sparsely hairy within, glabrous outside. Stamens free; filaments ciliate; anthers glabrous, apiculate.
