Phyllanthus oblanceolatus J.T.Hunter & J.J.Bruhl APNI* Description: Scandent herb, c. 15 cm high, glabrous. Stipules persistent.
Leaves alternate, distichous, elliptic, obovate to oblanceolate, 8–19.5 mm long, 2.5–9.5 mm wide, leathery.
Inflorescences sometimes with the sexes mixed; male flowers 1–4 together; female flowers 1 or 2 together; male perianth segments elliptic to ovate; female perianth segments lanceolate to ovate, larger than male segments. Stamens 3, filaments free. Styles 3, free, variously divided.
Capsule 2.5–4 mm diam.; seeds yellow-brown to red-brown, black with age, 1.7–2.0 mm long, smooth.
Flowering: Flowers January–December
Distribution and occurrence: Rare, recorded from near Cobar and the Barrier Ra.
