Description: Erect shrub to 80 cm high, glabrous, with few branches each terminating in an inflorescence.

Leaves crowded on lower stem, more distant on upper stem; lamina linear to narrow-ovate, mostly 3–5(-9) cm long, (0.3-)1–6 mm wide, margins recurved to ± revolute; sessile; stipules entire.

Corymbs many-flowered, 8–15 c. across., peduncles up to 10 cm long. Flowers 2–3 mm diam.

Capsule c. 3 mm diam.

Flowering: spring to summer.

Distribution and occurrence: South-eastern Australia, from SE Qld to East Gippsland, Victoria.

Widespread in open forest, mostly in sandy soils of low fertility.
NSW subdivisions: NC, CC, SC, NT, CT, ST, NWS, CWS
Other Australian states: Qld Vic.
