Prostanthera cruciflora J.H.Willis APNI*

Description: Erect shrub 1.5–2 m high, strongly aromatic; branches densely covered with ± sessile glands and with a prominent ridge of dense, short, curled hairs.

Leaves with lamina ovate, 6–20 mm long, 8–15 mm wide; apex ± obtuse; base ± cuneate; margins entire; surfaces grey-green, glabrous, densely covered with ± sessile glands; petiole 3–10 mm long.

Flowers in a terminal botryoid; bracteoles not persistent, < 0.1 mm long. Calyx c. 5 mm long; tube c. 3.5 mm long; upper lobe c. 2.5 mm long, not or only slightly enlarged in fruit. Corolla 6–9 mm long, white, with yellow streaks on lower lobe. Anthers without appendage.
