Pseudanthus divaricatissimus (Müll.Arg.) Benth. APNI* Synonyms: Caletia divaricatissima Müll.Arg. APNI*
Description: Decumbent to prostrate shrub with stems to 20 cm long, glabrous to minutely scabrous.
Leaves alternate or decussate, ovate to oblong, mostly 3–5.5 mm long, 1.5–2 mm wide, apex obtuse and recurved.
Male flowers on pedicels 0.7–1.2 mm long; perianth segments 0.8–1.5 mm long, pale red. Female perianth segments 1.2–1.6 mm long, reddish.
Capsule ovoid, 4–4.5 mm long, smooth, mottled green and red.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: mostly from Muswellbrook to Bega, with outlying populations near Urbenville and Dubbo (Goonoo State Forest). Found on rocky sites (sandstone) on sandy soils.

Other Australian states: Tas.
Pseudanthus was formerly placed in Euphorbiaceae.
