Description: Straggling to compact shrub, to 30 cm high.
Leaves elliptical to oblong elliptical, mostly 2–5 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, apex obtuse, sometimes recurved.
Male perianth segments to c. 2.5 mm long, whitish, narrowly oblong to oblong or narrowly obovate..
Fruits sessile; perianth persistent, enclosing c. the lower half of the capsule. capsule ovoid, 3.5–4 mm long.
Flowering: Spring–Summer.
Distribution and occurrence: N.S.W. (SC), Vic., Tas. Occurs in rocky situations.

Threatened species: NSW BCA: Endangered
In New South Wales, only known from near Eden. Pseudanthus was formerly placed in Euphorbiaceae.
