Description: Erect shrub; stems glabrous to sparsely spreading-pubescent.

Leaves alternate, linear, terete with a groove on the upper surface, 5–12 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide, apex acuminate, surfaces densely tuberculate, concolorous; stipules c. 2.5 mm long.

Inflorescences terminal, dense; bracts not conspicuously imbricate, persistent, c. 2.5 mm long, often 3-lobed, ovate, acute, usually hairy, margins mostly glabrous. Flowers 5–10 mm long; pedicels 0–0.5 mm long; bracteoles c. 2 mm long, lacking stipules, oblong, curved, obtuse, mostly hairy, attached at base or lower part of calyx tube. Calyx 2–5 mm long, moderately hairy or becoming glabrous towards base; lobes acuminate. Ovary hairy.

Pod c. 5 mm long, flattened.
