Description: Erect shrub; stems appressed-pubescent.

Leaves alternate, narrow-obovate to narrow-cuneate, concave, 8–20 mm long, 3–6 mm wide, apex rounded and usually minutely indented, margins flat, upper surface darker than lower; stipules c. 1 mm long.

Inflorescences terminal, dense; bracts imbricate, caducous, 4–5 mm long, minutely 3-lobed at apex, ovate, slightly hairy; pedicels c. 2 mm long or less. Flowers 7–10 mm long; bracteoles c. 2 mm long, lacking stipules, narrow-ovate, acute, hairy, attached to upper part of calyx tube. Calyx 3–4 mm long, densely hairy; lobes acute. Ovary hairy.

Pod 6–8 mm long, flattened.


Distribution and occurrence: Usually grows on granite; south from Temora.
NSW subdivisions: SC, CWS
