Pultenaea vrolandii Maiden APNI*

Description: Erect shrub; stems densely spreading-hairy.

Leaves ovate, 3–6 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, apex acuminate, margins incurved, surfaces concolorous; stipules c. 1.5 mm long.

Inflorescences terminal, dense; bracts not conspicuously imbricate, persistent, 1.5–3 mm long, entire or 2-lobed at apex, ovate, lobes at apex acuminate, glabrous to sparsely hairy. Flowers c. 10 mm long; pedicels 4–6 mm long; bracteoles 2.5–4 mm long, lacking stipules, almost circular, obtuse to emarginate, mostly glabrous, attached at base of calyx tube. Calyx c. 5 mm long, glabrescent; lobes acute. Ovary hairy.

Pod c. 5 mm long, turgid.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll forest on granite, Braidwood and Holbrook areas.
