Description: Semi-pendent epiphyte or rarely an epilith, with 1 or rarely 2 or more shoots; stems 0.5–7 cm long.

Leaves asymmetrically ovate to obovate to oblong or narrowly so, 2.5–12 cm long, 10–35 mm wide, slightly channelled, not spotted.

Inflorescence 2–10 cm long, 2–12-flowered, semi-pendent; rachis shorter to longer than peduncle; pedicel plus ovary c. 7 mm long. Flowers not campanulate; dorsiventral dimension of flower about equal to lateral dimension. Sepals and lateral petals narrow-oblong, often markedly dilated near the tip, green to yellow. Labellum c. 3 mm long, about half as long as dorsal sepal, glabrous. Column c. 2 mm long, slightly shorter than column foot, set at a very oblique angle to it.


Flowering: November–December

Distribution and occurrence: Grows on trees and more rarely on rocks in rainforest, from sea level to c. 600 m alt.; north from Tathra.
