Description: Sparsely branched shrub, 1–2 m high, softly pubescent.

Leaves 6–15 cm long; leaflets usually 21–35, oblong to ovate, 5–25 mm long, 3–10 mm wide, apex obtuse or retuse, margins entire, pubescent; petiole 10–20 mm long; lateral petiolules 1–2 mm long.

Racemes c. 10 cm long; pedicels c. 10 mm long. Calyx c. 5 mm long. Corolla c. 10 mm long, pale yellow.

Pod moniliform, indehiscent, 3–10 cm long, up to 8 mm diam., sparsely hairy, irregularly constricted between seeds; seeds 2–7, c. 6 mm long.


Flowering: spring.

Distribution and occurrence: Grows in moist situations, often near rainforest; north from Casino district.
